RIVERSIDE PET LODGE is a state of the art facility nestled in the woods on the banks of the Pine River in northern Iosco County. This is a family owned boarding kennel and we live on the property. You can rest easy knowing that your pets are under our care 24/7/365.
The Lodge is an air conditioned building with heated floors, covered indoor/outdoor runs and three exercise yards. Accommodations include a blanket, cot or cozy bed. We provide daily interaction, a must for your pet's well being. Woodland walks to the riverbank can also be scheduled, as well as a bath before pickup. Send your pets to "camp" with us - they will thank you for it!
SHIMMERIN STAR KENNEL is home to Siberian Huskies and German Shepherds. We strive to produce sound and healthy puppies out of health tested parents. We enjoy many activities with our dogs such as showing, sledding, hiking, and swimming. We are the proud owners of many AKC, UKC and International Champions.
WE ARE convenient to Oscoda, Tawas, Harrisville, Lincoln, Glennie and Hale, and are within an hours drive to Alpena, MI. We are looking forward to meeting our guests...and their owners!
